And it begins

I have wanted to start a blog for awhile but I didn't want it to be just another blog.  Another archive of recipes, of personal anecdotes, of TMI laid out in Internet land for all the world to read.  So I've pondered creative URLs.  I've dwelled over content.  I've suppressed all of my browsers as people walk by the keep the embarrassment of the birth of my identity-stricken blog from being known.  Yet, I'm sure my blog will be just another blog, and not to my chagrin.  I hope to achieve the entertainment and finesse of my favorites (http://lostangelesblog.wordpress.com/; http://www.bakerella.com/; http://www.twopeasandtheirpod.com/) but can make no promises.  I am not crossing my fingers for literary greatness (although that would be nice) but instead a medium to express my creativity to the world.  I am a tax accountant with a desperate need to make my career more colorful.  And although my food may not always be colorful (although I often strive for that), it is definitely delicious, or in the least creative.  So enjoy my anecdotes, my photos, my kitchen inspirations, and inspirational life moments.  It should be fun.
