When I was little, my sister and I dreamed bigger than a lemonade stand. We would sell cookies. Homemade chocolate chip cookies on the corner of our cul-de-sac. And our neighbors came out in troves. When we started depleting mom's baked good staples my older sister began calculating costs and we would repay mom from the money we collected from our cookie sales. We were practically a stone throw's away from preparing our own financials and filing with the SEC.
So now I begin my grown up lemonade stand. After years of baking for neighbors, for teachers, for roommates, and for co-workers, I hope to capitalize off of my baking finesse. My dream is to eventually have a store front. Ideally it would be a place where runners could meet for granola after jaunts through the city, friends could meet to catch up over a scone and a cup of coffee, couples could meet to share a piece of cake. Hopefully I will attain the greatness of some of my all time favorites:Double or Muffin
